Apotheek Pottie establishes this Privacy Policy, which aims to transparently inform Users about the website hosted at the following address: Koning Albert I-Laan 68b, 8200 Sint-Michiels Brugge (hereinafter the “Site”), and about how personal data is collected and processed by Apotheek Pottie.

The term “User” refers to any user, whether a natural or legal person, who visits the Site or communicates with the Site in any way.

As the Data Controller, Apotheek Pottie determines all technical, legal, and organizational means and the purposes for processing the Users’ personal data. Apotheek Pottie is free to choose a natural or legal person to process the Users’ personal data at its request and on its behalf (hereinafter the “Processor” or “Subcontractor”). In such a case, Apotheek Pottie undertakes to select a Processor who provides sufficient guarantees regarding technical and organizational measures for processing personal data, in accordance with the Law and the Regulation.

 

2. Processing of Personal Data

The use of the Site by Users may lead to the collection of personal data. The processing of this data by Apotheek Pottie, in its capacity as Data Controller, or by service providers acting on behalf of Apotheek Pottie, is carried out in accordance with the Law and the Regulation.

7. Data Recipients and Disclosure to Third Parties

Personal data may be transmitted to employees, collaborators, subcontractors, processors, or suppliers of Apotheek Pottie, provided they offer adequate guarantees for data security and cooperate with Apotheek Pottie in marketing products or providing services. They act under the direct authority of Apotheek Pottie and are particularly responsible for collecting, processing, or outsourcing this data.

9. Users’ Rights

a. Right of Access

 

In accordance with Article 15 of the Regulation, Apotheek Pottie guarantees the User’s right to access their personal data. The User has the right to access this personal data and the following information:

  • The recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data has been or will be disclosed;
  • If the recipients are located in third countries or are international organizations, the appropriate or suitable safeguards;

When the User submits this request electronically (e.g., via email), the data will be provided in an electronic form and for general use unless the User requests otherwise.

The copy of the data will be provided to the User no later than one month after receipt of the request.
